At first I was upset at this image of me and my husband but now I have realised it is a true vision of two old dears and I put it on the front cover of the Christmas Calendar that I have done for the family.
At least, then, they won’t have to look at it for a month!
It has got so that we just don’t know what to give adults for gifts and I am having enough trouble trying to find what I want for the children in our local shops. I HATE shopping on line.
I love the photo and what a great idea to put it on a calendar!
We are opposites, Julie. I cannot stand walking around the shops.
My family send me ideas, a few lists that vary in price, I choose one from each of their lists and visit Amazon.
The problems with choosing a gift for others is that it’s never what they would have chosen for themselves and is likely to end up in a charity shop or treturned to the store.
Older grandchildren have expensive taste too.

I love, love, love the photo!!! Two people who still care for each other. Lucky you!
I have a great deal going with my kids regarding gifts. They buy their own gifts and then tell me how much they love the hat, or whatever and it was just what they wanted, and how generous of me to spend $30, or $40, or $50 on it. It works very well. I hate to shop period!!! Happy holidays, Muriel
