UK Southern Book Show on Sunday was a success as far as I was concerned, with six books sold and lots of interest from people who took bookmarks and chatted about writing. The pity was, that although there was a great deal of advertising on line and the organisers sent out loads of flyers  there did not seem to be any large posters round the town and the local people did not seem to know there was a free event going on at the Pavilion in Worthing.

Young people must be aware that the older generation rely on posters and word of mouth to find out what is going on locally and many of them still do not use smartphones or computers.

The choice of genres was fantastic and authors had come from Yorkshire and Birmingham to show their books. Hopefully, word will get round and the next one will be even more successful.
