Worthy Words

Our writing workshop started up again yesterday with Wendy Hughes in fine fettle, giving us information on how to research for our writing – something I have never yet done!

When you write building on your own experience it doesn’t seem necessary to do research but others in the group write about times and places they know little about and wish to check their facts. I suppose, now I am writing short stories, not a novel, I may need to check on things from time to time.

Our homework was to do some research so I’m going to be forced into it. Two tales are entered for competitions this week. I don’t know when I’ll hear but it is keeping me writing.I keep checking on the new website. When I have 100 hits I’ll be happy. Until then I am beginning to find folk on twitter #jacyround.I keep forgetting to add #amwriting or#selfpub so it’s a wonder anyone finds me!
